Fizik presents its first range of helmets
For decades we have associated Fizik with their saddles. In recent times we also think of their fantastic shoes. Now, the Italian brand will also be talked about for their helmets, of which they have prepared a complete range that has already been used in mountain biking by the Orbea FOX Factory team.
Fizik dresses you from head to toe
4 helmet models make up the new range that Fizik has just presented, models adapted for uses ranging from road cycling or XC/marathon MTB to trail and triathlon and time trial. Models that share technologies in their development such as CFD work to optimize their aerodynamics, a wide range of sizes to fit heads between 51 and 61 cm.

Great attention to safety has also been a premise in Fizik's new helmets thanks to solutions such as the incorporation of the MIPS Air Node system for protection against rotational impacts or the possibility of integrating a 35 lumens rear light in them, except in the chrono model. Obviously, their construction meets the highest safety standards exceeding CE EN 1078:2012 standards or their American equivalent CPSC 1203 in addition to independent tests such as the prestigious Virginia Tech where they have achieved 5 stars.
The first model, the Kudo, is a general-purpose helmet aimed at road cycling, gravel, and more sporty mountain biking. More focused on road cycling, where aerodynamics play a relevant role, we find the Kudo Aero, the same helmet but with superior coverage that gives it better wind penetration. Both models weigh around 270 g and have a price of 290 €.
Additionally, for aggressive mountain bikers, we find the Kassis, an aggressive-looking helmet with an integrated visor and a rear part that extends to offer full occipital coverage but at the same time maintains a contained weight, around 330 grams, so that the helmet does not become a burden when we go out to the mountain. A helmet that we can get for 200 €.
The last model that integrates Fizik's catalog is the Kunée, a time trial helmet in which not only the best wind resistance figures have been achieved but also that it has adequate ventilation, thinking of long-distance triathletes who have to use this model for long hours. A helmet that includes a transparent and sun visor that can be easily mounted using the usual magnetic system. It weighs 350 g and has a price of 380 €.
