First images of a new Trek road bike with IsoFlow
It seems that Trek is going to extend the IsoFlow design, which has made its Madone model easily recognizable, the most aerodynamic bike from the Waterloo brand, to its climber Émonda according to an image leaked on the well-known internet forum Weightweenies. A model that could be ready for its debut starting from Sunday with the beginning of the Critérium du Dauphiné.
The launch of a new Trek Émonda could be imminent
Since the beginning of the season, when the teams were training on the roads of Alicante, there was talk of a new Trek bike when images of Giulio Ciccone on a bike model similar in design to the Trek Madone were published, but with much more refined tube profiles.
Obviously, the logical deduction was to assume that Trek was working on a new Trek Émonda, the climbing model of the brand that, in theory, is due for renewal after 4 years on the market. A rumor that has grown after the publication on the well-known Weighweenies forum of an image that seems to be leaked from a cycling website and points to this new model.

What mainly catches the attention of this new bike is, as we already intuited in the photos published at the beginning of the season, the adoption of the IsoSpeed design, similar to the one used by the Madone but in a bike with tremendously stylized tubes, which reinforces the idea that it is a new Émonda.
With this design, Trek would advance in reinforcing the aerodynamics of its climbing machine, a quality that began to be incorporated into this bike in the current version launched 4 years ago. In any case, Trek continues to clearly differentiate between its climbing bike and its aerodynamic bike, unlike other brands that bet on the aerolight concept and have been working on a single bike for all uses.
If what happened two years ago when the current Trek Madone was launched were to be repeated, it would not be strange to see this new bike competing on the French roads throughout the next week with the Critérium du Dauphiné, the usual dress rehearsal for the teams ahead of the Tour de France where not only the cyclists are tested but the teams also test the equipment they will use during the Grande Boucle.
