The 44th edition of the Nations' Time Trial will take place this Sunday, October 18, in Les Herbiers, France, where Remco Evenepoel will debut his newly revalidated rainbow jersey. The Belgian leads a top-level participation in an event that brings together some of the world's best time trial specialists and traditionally serves as a season finale.
Evenepoel seeks his first victory in the elite category
The French town of Les Herbiers will once again become the center of international cycling this Sunday with the celebration of the Nations' Time Trial 2026. This unique competition, which is held entirely in individual time trial format, will gather more than 200 cyclists across seven races, from under-17 categories to professionals.
The main attraction will be Remco Evenepoel (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe), who arrives with the rainbow jersey of world time trial champion and with an outstanding issue in this competition.
Although Evenepoel won the Nations' Time Trial as a junior in 2018, he has yet to triumph among professionals. He finished fifth in 2021 and second in 2023, when Joshua Tarling surpassed him by just 13 seconds.
