ENVE changes ownership and returns to the USA
Four years ago, alongside the sale of Mavic, rumors emerged that Amer Sports also wanted to divest ENVE Composites, but it is only now that it has happened. With this move, ENVE returns to its American origins, becoming part of PV3, a private investment company based in Utah.

ENVE changes hands and returns to the USA
The wheel and component brand ENVE was created in the USA in 2007 and in 2016 was acquired by Amer Sports for 50 million dollars. During these years, the brand has continued to be recognized as a prestigious brand and recently has also started manufacturing bicycle frames that in 2024 are used by the World Tour Total Energies team.
So, pending information about its financial health, we could say that ENVE is currently experiencing a sweet moment in terms of popularity and development, so this change can be understood more as a strategic move by Amer.

This is how Amer Sports Chief Operating Officer Michael Hauge Sørensen communicated the change in ownership of the brand:
"ENVE has undergone significant changes in recent years. The brand has positive momentum, and we see that it has good potential. However, after a thorough strategic evaluation, we have concluded that the next phase of development should take place under new ownership. We believe that PV3 is the most suitable owner for ENVE to realize and drive its next phase of growth."
Mike Stimola was appointed CEO of ENVE just a year ago and will continue in the position despite the change in ownership of the company.
