Enric Mas falls while training and is out of the UAE Tour

The Movistar Team has just announced that Enric Mas will not participate in the UAE Tour, a race in which he was supposed to make his debut in stage competition this season. The decision comes after the Mallorcan rider suffered a fall during a training session.

In light of this situation, and by mutual agreement between the rider and the team's medical staff, the Movistar Team has chosen not to take any risks and to rule out his participation in the Emirati round. For now, the telephone team has not detailed recovery timelines nor confirmed if this setback will affect the upcoming events scheduled in Enric Mas's calendar.
