Manitou tests a new double remote lockout in Val di Sole

Since the beginning of the season we are seeing that Manitou is developing a few new products with the Rockrider Ford Racing Team and in the last World Cup in Val di Sole we could see that in their paddock and some riders of the team were testing a new remote lockout for suspensions and dropper post.

As you can see in the pictures, the remote control has a somewhat raw metallic look, but it could be a final version if we look at the machining detail and the two versions that were on the workshop table. It consists of two overlapping levers, one for the suspension and one for the dropper post, and its position on the handlebars looks quite ergonomic.

We believe that in a few months this new range of Manitou suspensions could be officially presented and it will be then when we will know if this remote lockout is the definitive one. For the time being, some riders of the Rockrider Ford Racing Team still prefer to race with the OC control.
