The Portuguese Tiago Ferreira is an international reference in XCM. Among his achievements, he stands out as the XCM World Champion in 2016, two European championships (2017 and 2019), and nine titles as the National Champion of Portugal. His experience in endurance races and long distances makes him one of the favorites in any race he enters.
On the other hand, David Valero from Baza is one of the current great figures in XCO and has already shown that he is capable of competing for victory in any long-distance race. Bronze medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, winner of the XCO World Cup in Snowshoe (2022), and with recent podiums such as silver at the 2024 European XCM Championship and bronze at the 2024 XCM World Championship, Valero brings technique and power to this dream duo. With nine Spanish XCO Champion titles, he is an undisputed icon of MTB.
On February 24th, we will see how they perform as a pair and who knows if this could be the first of many competitions together.
