Dangerholm is ahead of the future with his SCOTT Spark Vision
The popular Gustav Gullholm "Dangerholm", known for modifying SCOTT bikes to turn them into completely new models, has just presented his Spark Visione. A futuristic and innovative preview of what could come to mountain biking in the coming years.
SCOTT Spark Visione: a glimpse into the future of mountain biking
The initial approach to developing this Spark Visione comes from Dangerholm's reflection on the evolution of bicycles:
"Some innovations have a great impact on us, like the RockShox Flight Attendant electronic suspensions, while others are aimed at the aesthetic and emotional enjoyment of our bikes. Because even though tastes may change, who doesn't like an attractive bike?"
"Just like with innovations of the past, some think they are unnecessary or dislike them. But I believe that, with enough time, refinement, and evolution, we will see that these new design styles and technical concepts are here to stay and will be common in 5-10 years."

"This SCOTT Spark RC is a study of that refinement and evolution. Taking the latest and highest quality technology to try to improve again, introducing a cleaner integration than ever before, but at the same time making that integration more user-friendly."
With this project, he wanted to pay tribute to those incredible concept cars that anticipate the future. The Italian name "Visione" and the Ferrari paint "Rosso Corsa" are Dangerholm's way of thanking Italian classic design for its inspiration.
At the center of the project is a "concept" handlebar that Dangerholm designed in wood and has been 3D printed with a very futuristic look. But this handlebar is not just a piece of prop but has been designed and perfected by the Syncros R&D team, and finally manufactured by TRUMPF (a leading German company in industrial applications).
The brake hoses, a front light, and the GPS mount are integrated into the handlebar. This greatly helps in the assembly of the rest of the electronic components (shifters and suspensions) when avoiding adding cables that need to be hidden.
The rest of the assembly and details comply with the particular "Dangerholm" philosophy that combines the most exclusive components with the necessary lightness and functionality for the bike to be functional. Such as the Bike Ahead saddle weighing only 70g, the Trickstuff Piccola brakes (the lightest on the market), or the minimalist Zirbel Twister WE01 shifters.
