Confirmed the 8 invited teams for the XCO World Cup in Nove Mesto 2025.
The following quote from the 2025 XCO World Cup will arrive on May 23 in Nové M?sto Na Morav?, Czech Republic and we already know the eight teams that will compete alongside the official teams thanks to the special invitations (wildcards) that the International Cycling Union (UCI) and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports have just announced.
These are the 8 Wildcard teams for the 2025 Nové M?sto XCO World Cup
Among the selected teams, we find three local teams: Cabtech Racing Team, Rouvy, and Expres CZ - BMD Team Kolín, who will be able to compete in front of their fans at one of the most iconic venues on the calendar. The KTM Factory MTB Team and the Lexware Mountainbike Team, two veteran teams, have also been invited again after their outstanding performances in the opening rounds in Brazil.
The list is completed by three teams making their debut in this season of the series: Bixs Performance Race Team, Trek Future Racing, and Scott Creuse Oxygene Gueret, all with a promising mix of emerging talent and international experience.

From the Czech group, it is worth noting the participation of cyclists such as Zoe Cuthbert (Cabtech Racing Team) and Adéla Holubová (Rouvy), who were already present at the Brazilian rounds. The Cabtech Racing Team has an international roster, with Cuthbert being one of the three non-Czech riders on the team. Meanwhile, Matej Ulik, the national champion of Slovakia in XCO and XCC, will be the only local rider not competing "at home," representing the Expres CZ - BMD Team Kolín.
As for the returning teams, the KTM Factory MTB Team and the Lexware Mountainbike Team arrive strengthened after a successful start to the season. In particular, Austrian rider Katharina Sadnik shone with a second and third place in the U23 XCC World Cups held in Brazil.
Among the debutants, names like Marcel Guerrini (Bixs Performance), who finished third in the 2024 Nové M?sto XCO World Cup; Spanish national U23 XCO champion Marta Cano Espinosa, who will race with Trek Future Racing; and Belgian national XCO and XCC champion Emeline Detilleux, who will represent Scott Creuse Oxygene Gueret, stand out.
