Weekend of lights and shadows for Greta Seiwald
Last weekend left a taste as sweet as bitter for one of the most outstanding runners of the Decathlon Ford Racing Team. On Friday, Greta Seiwald was crowned Short Track Champion of Italy (XCC), achieving a brilliant victory in a very disputed race with Chiara Teochi.
However, the joy turned into concern just one day later. On Saturday, during the fourth race of the Internazionali d'Italia Series, the Italian suffered a fall in the race that resulted in a trimalleolar fracture in her right ankle, a serious injury that required emergency surgery and will keep her away from competition for some time.

Showing once again her strength and resilience, Greta shared an emotional reflection on her social media:
"This is not a dream—it's reality. Sometimes, life throws lemons at us. Even so, even in difficult times, there is beauty that can be found, even if it doesn't seem like it. Your messages and kind words have already brought light to this difficult moment. Although I haven't fully recovered my smile yet, I truly feel the support and love of so many people, and I have the confidence that life will improve soon. Let's turn this into lemonade!"
