Canyon Strive, brand new enduro bike for 2021
The brand new Canyon Strive arrives in 2021 with interesting new features. Its tough full carbon frame has been designed to be fast on both uphills and downhills. A bike that offers maximum versatility to stand out in enduro races and face high-speed rock gardens, narrow paths or tight turns. This award-winning Canyon Strive is one of the fastest enduro bikes on the planet.

The Canyon Strive for 2021 is still using the innovative Shapeshifter technology. A technology developed in collaboration with Fox Suspension that allows the geometry and travel of the rear suspension to be modified on the go. It is as easy as pushing a lever to switch from descend mode (with a more relaxed geometry) to climb mode (raising the bottom bracket and sharpening the handling) while reducing the available travel at the rear and increasing the stiffness of the suspension.
All the models in the Strive range feature 170 mm travel forks. The front end has been raised and the head tube angle smoothed to increase performance on technical and steep descents. The new GRIP2 dampers on the Fox fork equipped on the CF 8 and CFR models are also noteworthy.

There are also improvements in other areas. CF 9 and CFR models include DT Swiss EXC 1501 and EXC 1200 carbon wheels designed for gravity use. These bikes also feature the One Up V2 telescopic seatpost and in the rest of the Strive range the seatpost travel has been increased. The Strive has Maxxis, Minion DHR II tyres with EXO + casing that are even more durable on the rear wheel and the versatile Maxxis Assegai on the front.
Regarding the colours. X-Ray green is no longer reserved for professional riders like Tahnee and Kaos Seagrave, and is an option on the CF 7 and CF 8 models, while the CFR features super-sharp black and white colourway.
The Strive range consists of 4 models. From the CF 7, with a race-ready build and with the same full-carbon frame as the top models for 2.999 € to the CFR for 5.999 €. The top of the CFR range has a carbon frame made of ultra-premium materials to save 300 g in weight compared to the Strive CF frame and the best components: Fox Factory suspension, DT Swiss carbon wheels and Shimano XTR groupset. This is a real dream for the most demanding enduro enthusiasts.
