The Canyon Grizl returns to the scene completely renewed. Four years after the successful launch of the original model, the German brand presents a new generation that is more versatile, resistant, and capable. Under the motto "One Bike, All Adventures", the Grizl 2026 comes with two different configurations, optimized geometry, compatibility with front suspension, and a new integrated electric power technology that sets a new standard in bikepacking.

Canyon Grizl 2026: the ultimate gravel bike is renewed with two versions, suspension, integrated lighting, and everything you need to go further than ever

The new Canyon Grizl is based on a redesigned carbon platform that stands out for its tire clearance for tires up to 54 mm, compatibility with front and rear racks, increased storage volume in the main triangle, semi-integrated cable routing to prevent damage to the frame, optimized geometry to improve control on descents, and the use of open standards: round seatpost, external clamp, and 1 1/8" steerer tube. It is available in seven sizes covering riders from 160 cm to over 200 cm tall, and offers Full Mounty cockpit options with multiple attachment points.

The big news is the division into two ranges that share the frame, but are oriented towards different adventure styles. The Grizl OG (Original Graveller) is designed for those looking for a versatile gravel bike, fun, and fast on one or multi-day outings. It uses Shimano GRX or SRAM XPLR drivetrains, incorporates the conventional HB0067 handlebar with ST0046 stem, and mounts 45 mm Schwalbe G-One RX tires. This range includes four models, with prices ranging from €2,399 to €7,999.

The Grizl Escape, on the other hand, is designed for long getaways, bikepacking, and self-sufficient adventures. It uses 'mullet' type drivetrains with MTB cassettes for more gearing on demanding climbs, includes the Full Mounty cockpit that offers more grip positions and space for mounting accessories, and mounts 45 mm Schwalbe G-One Overlander tires. This range includes three models, with prices between €2,999 and €6,999.

The new Grizl is also compatible with the Canyon RIFT F132 One suspension fork, developed in collaboration with DT Swiss, which provides 40 mm of travel through the LINEAIR air system. It includes remote lockout from the handlebar, luggage mounts, internal brake routing, and optimized geometry to maintain agile behavior even with suspension.

The most advanced version of the Grizl incorporates the ECLIPS system (Endless Charge & Lighting Integrated Power System), a pioneering solution that integrates a frictionless SON dynamo, an internally housed Lupine Smartcore battery, and front Lupine Nano SL and rear C14 lights. The entire system is internally wired and protected from the environment. In addition, it includes a USB-C port for charging devices such as phones, GPS, or cameras while pedaling. Everything is managed from the Canyon BlackBox unit and can be controlled through the official app.

Canyon has also developed the new GR30 wheels in collaboration with DT Swiss. These wheels include DT 350 Spline hubs, Aerocomp spokes, and hookless carbon rims with a 30 mm profile and 27 mm internal width, optimized for tubeless tires at low pressure.
