The latest in electric gravel is called Canyon GRIZL:ON
Canyon evolves its line of gravel ebikes, making them lighter and more manageable, and expanding their versatility to cover everything from extreme gravel riding to your daily commute to work, all accompanied by a complete line of accessories so that you have a Canyon Grizl:ON exactly tailored to your needs.
Canyon extends the versatility of its e-gravel bikes with the new GRIZL:ON
If gravel bikes are essentially capable of almost anything we ask of them, that philosophy is enhanced when we add the versatility provided by electric assistance. However, in its first e-gravel Grizl:ON, which Canyon launched back in 2020, it was limited to releasing a gravel version of its conventional Grizl model.
Now, Canyon goes a step further and launches a bike designed for practically any use you can think of for a gravel bike, covering from the most radical rides for this type of bike to your daily commutes, without forgetting, of course, long bikepacking trips.

The new Grizl:ON is built on an elaborate carbon frame that houses a Bosch Performance Line SX central motor, the lightest and most compact option from the manufacturer with its 2 kg weight and a very contained assistance of 55 Nm. With this, Canyon aims for this Grizl:ON to remain a true bicycle where the cyclist comes first, both when pedaling and with a lighter and more manageable set but with that extra help provided by its motor to assist us in situations where it is really needed, especially when things get tough uphill.
A motor that is accompanied by a 400 Wh battery which should provide an autonomy of around 100 kilometers and which can be increased with an external battery available as an option that adds another 250 Wh. As a curiosity, the Bosch Performance Line SX motor can be connected to the Bosch App created for its management and has, among other interesting functions, a tracking system that allows us to locate our bike in case of theft.
Accessories are an essential part of this new Grizl:ON, being largely responsible for adapting this bike to the specific use we are looking for. Starting with its included light kit. Lights designed for Canyon by the prestigious Lupine brand and including a powerful front light based on the Lupine Nano SL model and rear lights inspired by the Lupine C14 model that integrate completely into the structure of the frame dropouts. Both powered by the bike's own electrical system and can be easily removed if we do not wish to use them or need to replace them for any reason.
Continuing with the range of accessories, we cannot forget to mention its load capacity for our bikepacking adventures. For this, Canyon has created a large frame bag, the Fidlock QuickLoader, a semi-rigid structure that installs in a matter of seconds in the space under the top tube and the head tube thanks to a system of powerful magnets.
It is complemented by a rear luggage rack with integrated mudguard that allows you to carry up to 15 kg of luggage. A luggage rack that is compatible with the quick attachment system of Ortlieb panniers, a brand that Canyon has worked with to have a version specially created for this bike of their Gravel Pack pannier kit consisting of two side bags capable of carrying up to 14.5 liters of volume.
