Campagnolo launches its most affordable and interesting carbon wheels in years
Campagnolo continues to advance in its new strategic phase and has just presented the new Zonda Carbon All Road, a wheelset that marks a turning point within its catalog. The historic Italian brand is betting on a more accessible option than its exclusive Bora, but without renouncing the technologies that have defined the brand for decades.

Campagnolo democratizes carbon with the new Zonda Carbon All Road: wheels designed for cycling without labels
With a price of 1,420 euros, the new Zonda Carbon becomes the most affordable entry point into the world of Campagnolo carbon wheels, positioned 870 euros below the Bora X intended for gravel. A proposal that clearly reflects the change in direction that the company began with the launch of the Record 13 group and its commitment to more versatile and accessible products.
If a few years ago road and gravel were two perfectly separate worlds, the current reality is very different. Modern bicycles allow linking asphalt, deteriorated secondary roads, cobblestones, and even dirt tracks without the need to change mounts. Precisely for that type of use, the new Zonda Carbon All Road was born.

Campagnolo defines them as a wheel capable of maintaining the sensations of a true road wheel from the Italian brand, but adding the ability to tackle much more varied surfaces without penalizing performance.
The base of the set is a unidirectional high-modulus carbon rim manufactured entirely in Europe, with a depth profile of 50 mm and an internal width of 25 mm, dimensions that allow mounting tires from 29 mm to over 40 mm wide.
Technologies inherited from higher ranges
Although the Zonda Carbon arrives to expand the accessibility of the range, Campagnolo has made it clear that this is not a "cut-down" wheel, but rather a reinterpretation of its most recognized technologies.
The rim employs the C-LUX finish, the same direct molding concept used in some of its high-end models, while the hubs incorporate two of the brand's historical hallmarks.

On one hand, we find the characteristic G3 lacing, with an asymmetric spoke arrangement to increase lateral stiffness and improve power transmission. On the other, the well-known Cup & Cone adjustable bearings, a solution that Campagnolo continues to defend for its smooth operation and long-term durability.
According to the brand itself, the goal is to offer a wheel capable of maintaining its performance over thousands of kilometers, preserving the ride feel that has traditionally distinguished its products.
The reflection of the new Campagnolo
The Zonda Carbon does not arrive in isolation. Its launch fits perfectly within the transformation that Campagnolo has been carrying out in recent months.
After years focused exclusively on the premium segment and following a complicated period for the company, the Italian brand seems determined to regain prominence by betting on more versatile products with more competitive prices.
First came the Super Record 13 and Super Record 13 X groups, then the more affordable Record 13, and now these Zonda Carbon All Road continue the same philosophy: to maintain the technical DNA of Campagnolo but bringing it closer to a much broader audience.

The Italian brand believes that there is a new generation of cyclists who no longer differentiate between road and gravel, users who seek a bicycle capable of doing it all and components that accompany that versatility. The new Zonda Carbon All Road are, probably, Campagnolo's clearest response to that trend.
