The spectacular BH Prototype of Cullel and Valero for the Paris Olympics
In a recent interview, David Valero revealed that he would compete in the Paris Olympics with a BH prototype developed especially for the occasion. The same one that we now see in detail with a spectacular design in gold and visible carbon, and that will be ridden by the three cyclists of the BH Coloma Team: David Valero, Jofre Cullel, and the Portuguese Raquel Queiros. However, the bike still hides the central area where we assume there will be a new suspension system.
David Valero and Jofre Cullel will race with this BH Prototype in the Paris Olympics
We saw it for the first time a few months ago and we already suspected that it was a new BH model that could be focused on fast XC circuits without too technical sections. Without knowing what it hides under the shock absorber area, the concept of this BH Prototype fits with full suspension mountain bikes and a short rear travel (between 60 and 80mm). Even more so when David Valero himself recently explained that this bike has been specially developed with a circuit like the Paris Olympics in mind.
Without knowing more details than those we extract from the photos. The first thing that stands out is its elegant design for the Olympics in which the brand ensures that not a gram has been wasted and for this, it has left a shiny carbon base with golden details visible.
