Specialized has a new boss, Armin Landgraf replaces Scott Maguire as CEO
The management of Specialized has announced a significant change in its leadership. Armin Landgraf, who was in charge of Pon.Bike (Santa Cruz or Cannondale) and Canyon Bicycle, is now the new CEO of Specialized. Landgraf replaces Scott Maguire, who will now lead the innovation and technology department.

Armin Landgraf has been part of Specialized since 2022 as the global markets chief, and previously served as CEO of the Pon.Bike group, with brands like Cervelo, SantaCruz, or Cannondale, between 2015 and 2019, and of Canyon between 2019 and 2021. Also in 2022 was the year when Maguire took the helm of Specialized as CEO, appointed by the brand's founder Mike Sinyard.

Now, in a statement, Specialized announces the CEO change as follows:
"Scott has been instrumental in leading Specialized through challenging times while launching incredible products to maintain the dominant position we have today." "With this new appointment, Scott will lead the newly created innovation department, focused on electrification.
