Los Angeles 2028 already has a venue for the XCO
The organization of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games has revealed this Tuesday the venue that will host the XCO competition. It will be at the Industry Hills MTB Park, located in the City of Industry area, and there the best XCO specialists in the world will compete for Olympic medals in three years.
The 2028 Los Angeles Olympics already have a XCO venue
The XCO circuit will be located on top of a hill in the San Gabriel Valley and has been described as an "ultramodern" route that combines nature and spectacle in the heart of the city. According to the organization, it is a track with technical descents, jumps, varied terrain sections, and key points where fans can experience the action up close.

There is still a long way to go until Los Angeles, but pending the road routes, this circuit could make some multidisciplinary cyclists, such as Tom Pidcock, Puck Pieterse, or Mathieu van der Poel, consider specific mountain bike preparation for 2028. "If the road route in Los Angeles is very tough, then the decision to focus on MTB may be easier. It would be a great end-of-career goal," Van der Poel explained recently.
