Orbea faces the Cape Epic 2024 with a historic deployment, betting strongly with four teams that come to the race with clear and ambitious objectives. The renowned bicycle brand will seek to stand out not only in competition, but also by bringing fans all the excitement from within.

The Orbea Fox Factory Team, composed of Ibon Zugasti and Kaare Aagaard, will take on a double challenge: competing for victory in the M50 category and narrating each stage of the prestigious race from within. This team will use a personalized Orbea Oiz through the MyO program and equipped with custom Oquo wheels. In addition, both cyclists will debut a Hiru clothing kit specially designed for this event, available for fans in Orbea stores and their website.

On the other hand, the Orbea Leatt Speed Company Racing team arrives at the Cape Epic with the favorite label, led by the experienced Lukas Baum and Georg Egger. Baum will wear the colors of the European champion on his personalized Orbea Oiz, while Egger will participate with another Oiz adapted through MyO. Both bicycles will be equipped with SRAM groups and Rock Shox Flight Attendant suspensions. Here we have the detailed setup.

The Klimatiza Orbea structure will participate with two highly competitive teams: Marc Stuzmann with Samuele Porro, and Miguel Muñoz with Luis Martínez. Both teams will have a special edition of the Orbea Oiz personalized for this competition.

In addition to the search for sporting success, Orbea will carry an important social message with the Pump For Peace team, represented by Tumelo Makae and Unathi Nxumalo. This team will participate with a regular Orbea Oiz, also personalized with MyO, to make visible this project that seeks to promote social inclusion through cycling.

All the Oiz have been personalized, in aesthetics and assembly, with the same MyO program assembly that is available to the general public. So any cyclist can wear these same designs.
