Van Aert's knee continues to delay his return to cyclocross
Wout van Aert is alongside Van der Poel and Pidcock one of the most anticipated cyclists in this cyclocross season. But the Belgian is still dealing with a slow knee recovery that has once again postponed the start of his season in the mud.
Van Aert prefers not to take risks and will continue to recover and strengthen his knee
Nothing was confirmed, but it was expected that Van Aert would start his cyclocross season a few days after finishing his first concentration with Visma Lease a Bike on December 19.

Now, the HLN newspaper reveals that although Van Aert is already training normally on his road bike, he has experienced some discomfort while walking. Something that could condition him in cyclocross races where there are numerous sections of running with the bike on his shoulder. The same newspaper states that from now on he will focus part of his preparation on this aspect.

Since then, the Belgian has been focused on his preparation for 2025, and it was clear that the cyclocross season was conditioned to his recovery.
