Adidas Sport Eyewear has introduced its new POWERVIZN™ lens system, a new optical base that will be integrated into its entire current collection. This technology promises to improve the reading of the environment in real-use situations where light changes constantly and the terrain demands immediate visual precision.

The development is based on how vision behaves in real conditions. The brand identifies four factors that influence what the athlete sees: light, terrain, external interferences, and the lens configuration itself. From there, the system is built by combining several elements that work together.

This combination enhances the definition of the environment and makes it easier to distinguish changes in surface or terrain references more quickly. The system also addresses the factors that affect vision during use. The lenses incorporate hydrophobic and oleophobic treatments on both sides to prevent water, sweat, or dirt from adhering and deteriorating clarity. This helps maintain more stable vision when conditions become challenging.
