The XCM World Championships is filled with XCO stars like Koretzky, Blevins, Valero, Rissveds, and Batten
The XCM World Championship 2024 will be held on September 22 in Snowshoe, USA, and due to the proximity in time and distance with the Lake Placid World Cup, there will be a large number of XCO specialists who will participate in this event.
XCO specialists switch to XCM for World Championship
In the men's race, we already knew that the Spanish David Valero has decided to prepare for this XCM World Championship after his great performance in the European Championship where he finished in second place. But alongside him, there will be other top XCO favorites such as the French Victor Koretzky, who after winning the silver medal at the Olympics, the victory in the XCC World Championship, and finishing second in the recent XCO World Championship in Andorra, has decided to take advantage of his great form to try to win in the long distance.
Americans Christopher Blevins and Danish Simon Andreassen will also be on the starting grid in Snowshoe. Blevins could be one of the main contenders to beat considering he is a specialist in long distances and winner of the Cape Epic in 2023.
