X-BIONIC arrives at the XCO World Cup
X-BIONIC, the Swiss high-end sports equipment brand, will arrive this year at the XCO World Cup with the Thömus maxon team led by Mathias Fluckiger and Alessandra Keller.
Thömus maxon debuts its X-BIONIC gear for 2025
The Thömus maxon Swiss Mountain Bike Team starts the 2025 season with new partners, including the equipment brand X-BIONIC.
This Swiss manufacturer is known for producing garments with high technology and after becoming a reference in other sports such as skiing, now the company is betting on MTB with its advanced thermoregulation and cooling technology, designed to maintain the optimal body temperature at 37 degrees.

Maximilian Lenk, CEO of X-BIONIC, explained the importance of this collaboration agreement:
“With our patented cooling technologies, we allow Alessandra Keller, Mathias Flückiger, and the rest of the team to fully focus on the race. We take care of the rest.”
The new Thömus maxon jersey will maintain the classic Thömus red color, but with a renewed and modern design.
For Ralph Näf, team manager, X-BIONIC's innovation will make a key difference in high performance:
“If you want to win in cross-country, you must be able to cool down... and do it well. Thermoregulation is a key factor in success today. What impresses us the most is that this cooling system is not just an extra, but a radical change for the sport.”
The team, led by Ralph Näf, starts this new season maintaining its successful philosophy: "Never change a winning team."
With four of the best Swiss MTB cyclists and nine young promises, Thömus maxon's main goal for the season is to make it to the podium of the XCO World Championship, which will be held in their home country this year.
For this season, the team will have Thomus bikes, Shimano group, components, pedals, and shoes, Giro helmet, X-BIONIC competition clothing, DT Swiss wheels and suspensions, Schwalbe tires, Selle Italia saddles, ESI grips, Garmin devices, KS telescopic seatpost, and Sponser nutrition.
