Vlad Dascalu renews his contract with Trek Factory Racing
After a brilliant 2022 season, Romanian rider Vlad Dascalu has just renewed for 3 more years with his current team, Trek Factory Racing. He is one of the most promising names in world XC and only a few setbacks prevented him from a World Cup victory last year.
Vlad Dascalu signs 3 more years with Trek Factory Racing
After becoming World and European Under-23 Champion with the Brújula Bike Racing Team, Dascalu made the jump in 2020 to the elite category with Trek's subsidiary team, Trek Pirelli, and in 2022 he joined the factory team, Trek Factory Racing. Formation with which he has just signed 3 more years after a brilliant season in which Dascalu has been on the podium up to 9 times in World Cup.
This renewal was announced after winning at Los Internacionales de Chelva, a triumph that he himself pointed out as very important since it means a reencounter with victory after more than a year, not counting the National of Romania, and that could give him the necessary confidence to face the new World Cup season with a renewed spirit.
