Vidaurre and Galinski win the La Rioja Bike Experience 2026
The La Rioja Bike Experience concluded this Sunday its first edition under a new format with which it aims to establish itself as one of the major national stage MTB events. After three days of competition with the Palacio de Deportes in Logroño as the epicenter of the event, the race crowned Ulan Galinski and Catalina Vidaurre, both from the BH Coloma Team, as the overall winners of an edition marked by a strong international presence and the support of the people of La Rioja.

The final day took the riders on a route of 52 kilometers and more than 1,100 meters of positive elevation gain, passing through iconic areas of La Rioja such as Clavijo, Alberite, and Albelda de Iregua. It was a final day in which the BH Coloma Team once again showcased its strength, practically racing at home.
In the men's category, Ulan Galinski finished the work he started during Saturday's queen stage and secured his first overall victory in the La Rioja Bike Race. The Brazilian, an Olympic athlete and one of the major references in South American MTB, managed to recover from a fall suffered during the first stage to ultimately impose himself with authority in the general classification.
Galinski was also the strongest in this final stage, confirming his dominance with another stage victory. The Argentine Catriel Soto completed the BH Coloma Team's double with a second-place finish for the day, also achieving his first partial podium of this edition. The Bolivian Ever Alejandro Gómez finished third for the second consecutive day and also closed the final podium of the general classification.

Felipe Orts, who had started the race showing great form and occupied front positions for much of the weekend, ultimately finished second in the general classification despite a more challenging final day in which he lost time to the Brazilian.
In the women's category, Catalina Vidaurre dominated the race with overwhelming superiority. The Chilean won all three stages and finished the event with more than 35 minutes ahead of the second-placed competitor, after further extending her lead on the final day.
The BH Coloma Team rider set the pace from the first day and never gave her rivals a chance. Alba Teruel finished second in both the stage and the final general classification, while Txell Figueras completed the final podium after confirming her return to the highest level following a serious knee ligament injury suffered just over six months ago.
The new format of the La Rioja Bike Experience seems to have consolidated itself successfully, and Logroño once again became a major meeting point for MTB over three days, mixing international competition, enthusiasm, gastronomy, and parallel activities around mountain biking.
