Underneath this intimidating "post-apocalyptic scrap metal" lies one of the most advanced electric gravel bikes on the market
If until now, the popular bicycle builder Dangerholm had surprised us with ultralight or cutting-edge assemblies, this time he surprises us with the transformation of a SCOTT Solace, the most advanced electric gravel bike from the brand, into a post-apocalyptic scrap based on the Mad Max universe.
Dangerholm's new SCOTT Solace Wasteland turns one of the most advanced eBikes of the moment into a work of art made of iron and rust
The SCOTT Solace "Wasteland" is a unique creation that combines a rugged and post-apocalyptic style with the base of a SCOTT Solace Gravel eRIDE frame. An authentic work of art that redefines the limits of design and functionality in the cycling world.

Dangerholm himself explains that he was inspired by the visual universe of the Mad Max movie, where everything is full of damaged vehicles, rusted metals, and intimidating designs. His goal was to turn one of the most advanced eBikes of the moment into a machine worthy of surviving the apocalypse.
To reach its final version, Dangerholm took the frame of a SCOTT Solace Gravel eRIDE, made of carbon, and added a central tube to the triangle as a tribute to the "Klunker" bikes, considered the predecessors of mountain bikes.
The original carbon fork was replaced by one built in steel with unique details such as coins at the ends and Damascus steel details.
The frame was painted with a special rust-like finish, like the so-called "Rat Bikes," a style of motorcycles that proudly display rust.
The brake discs have also been customized to give them a circular saw appearance in line with the bike's aggressive theme. Noteworthy details include the worn leather Brooks saddle or the bottle holder adapted to carry a liquor flask.
Despite its scrap appearance, the Solace Wasteland is one of the most efficient and modern eBikes. Equipped with the TQ HPR50 system, it offers 50Nm of torque and a 360Wh battery, perfectly integrated into the frame. Its geometry, similar to the SCOTT Addict Gravel RC, ensures a fast and agile riding experience, while its SRAM X0 Eagle transmission guarantees durability and precision.
Once again, Dangerholm demonstrates that creativity and performance can coexist in perfect harmony, even in a bicycle that seems to come from an action movie.
