Jonny Milan's spectacular Trek Madone SLR "Ciclamino"
Despite the sprint victories ending in a tie between Tim Merlier and Jonathan Milan at the conclusion of the 2024 Giro d'Italia, the reality is that the speed king has been the Italian who has decisively dominated the points classification of this Corsa Rosa. To celebrate this, Trek turned to its Project One customization program to prepare a bike for the Lidl-Trek cyclist in the cyclamen color that identifies the leader of this classification, with which he competed in the final stage of the race.
Metallic Cyclamen, the spectacular color of the Trek that Jonathan Milan used in the last stage
As is customary in the final stage of the grand tours, bike brands usually prepare customized models for the winning cyclists of each of the classifications contested as a celebration of triumph in those rankings. However, if there is a specialist in achieving the most spectacular customizations, it is Trek, a pioneer in providing this service to its customers through its Project One program.

The Trek Madone SLR unit that Jonathan Milan used in the last stage of the 2024 Giro d'Italia through the streets of Rome, obviously sported the characteristic cyclamen color that identifies the winner of the points classification of this race but with the signature of the Waterloo brand in the form of an incredible metallic color that we had already seen in some of its creations.
Furthermore, the bike acknowledges the effort of the entire Lidl-Trek team in achieving this jersey and the three victories obtained, no less with the spectacular sprints they have staged at the finishes, and it includes the names of all the squad members on the top tube of the bike, topped with the surname Milan in large capital letters. The design concludes by bidding farewell, not quite clear if to the race or to the rest of his rivals with a succinct Arrivederci that can be read on the back of the characteristic IsoFlow. On the pedals, we find Time XPRO 12, a brand that was absorbed, only its pedal division, a few years ago by SRAM and which maintains its name as a pioneer in the production of automatic pedals. Of course, also personalized with details of the characteristic cyclamen color.
A bike that, on the other hand, maintains the usual assembly that the team has been using and in which the presence of the new SRAM Red AXS stands out, presented just a few days ago, and the monoplate configuration, ideal for a completely flat stage like the one that closed the 2024 Giro d'Italia.
Although Trek has not yet confirmed it, as has been the case with previous designs, a replica of this design should soon be available in its Project One customization program.
