Trek assumes the signing of Marta Cano
After 3 seasons wearing the colors of the Primaflor Mondraker Team and having made the jump to the under-23 category in 2024, it seems that next season 19-year-old Catalan cyclist Marta Cano will have a new team. There is nothing official yet, but Trek has already shown images of her at their first training camp of the year.
Spanish Marta Cano will be the new signing for Trek XC in 2025
Trek Future Racing is the brand's development team for their XC cyclists. A team full of young promises that is currently having their first training camp for 2025, where we have seen for the first time the young promise of women's XC, Marta Cano.
At 19 years old, Marta Cano is having a promising career and has already achieved good results in both the junior category and her first year in the under-23 category. In addition, her performance and technical quality allow her to transfer her talent to other disciplines, as evidenced by her victories in the Spanish Cyclocross Championship junior and under-23 categories in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Although it is not official yet, everything points to her signing with Trek Future Racing for 2025 being confirmed, which would even allow us to see her compete in the Trek Factory Racing jersey in some World Cup races, as the new regulations allow World Series teams to invite cyclists from their development teams and in that case they would be required to compete in the jersey of the first team.
