Specialized improves its Levo 4 with a simple software update that increases its maximum power and optimizes the behavior of the 3.1 motor. The update comes in the form of an Over-the-Air update, allowing users to install it directly from the official brand app, without in-store intervention.

The change directly affects the performance of the Turbo 3.1 system, which gains power and adjusts its delivery to provide a more progressive and customizable assistance.

The update introduces two differentiated configurations within the range:

• S-Works versions: 18% increase in maximum power, reaching 850 W, while maintaining 111 Nm of torque.
• Other models: 22% increase in maximum power, up to 810 W, with torque revised to 105 Nm.

Beyond the power data, Specialized focuses on the "SuperNatural" character of the motor, with a more refined response and a delivery that aims to maintain a more integrated pedaling sensation.

Marco Sonderegger, Leader of Turbo Technology, explains it this way: “With Over-the-Air updates, each Turbo bike becomes a living machine, constantly evolving. With a simple update done from home, riders gain more power, more refinement, and an even more personalized experience.”

The update is not limited to increasing maximum watts. It also modifies key parameters of the system's behavior:

• Dynamic MicroTune with 1x You, which adjusts assistance based directly on the cyclist's effort.
• More progressive reduction of assistance as it approaches the legal speed limit.
• More responsive overrun, making it easier to overcome obstacles in technical areas.
• Configurable Walk Mode, with three different levels.

The update is installed from the Specialized app (version 1.55 or higher), consolidating a strategy based on the continuous evolution of the software. With this, the Levo 4 can improve its performance without mechanical modifications or hardware changes.

With this move, Specialized redefines the scope of the current Levo 4, increasing its power and refining its behavior on the road.
