The Q36.5 creates a UCI MTB team for Pirdcock
This week, the UCI presented the list of 101 mountain bike teams registered for 2025, highlighting a new Swiss team that seems to be created especially for the current Olympic XCO Champion, but he won't be alone. The Q36.5 PRO CYCLING TEAM, in addition to being a UCI ProTeam on the road, now also has its UCI MTB Team license.
The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team is now a MTB team and these are its riders
There is no doubt that this move is directly related to two of their latest signings: Tom Pidcock and Milan Vader. The Olympic champion is already known as one of the biggest stars in multidisciplinary cycling, but it's worth mentioning that the team also signed this year the Dutch Milan Vader, a prominent XCO biker who has been focused on the road with Visma in recent seasons. In addition, this new MTB team has also added the young Swiss promise Fabio Christen, born in 2002.

The team will be led by Kurt Bogaerts, Pidcock's trusted coach for years, who has moved to the Swiss team accompanying the British cyclist.

Although the creation of this off-road team reinforces Pidcock and Q36.5's commitment to the discipline, it remains to be seen whether the cyclist will compete in MTB this year or focus 100% on the road. If he takes the step, the Italian brand Pinarello clarified a few months ago that Tom Pidcock would use their bikes to compete in gravel, cyclocross, and mountain bike.
