The new Specialized Turbo Levo R now has an affordable version
Weeks after the launch of the Turbo Levo R in carbon, Specialized takes a key step to expand its reach with the arrival of the aluminum version. The new Levo R Comp Alloy brings the most radical concept of the "rally" platform to a more accessible setup, but without giving up the elements that define this model within the full power segment.
Specialized expands the Turbo Levo R with a new aluminum range that maintains its most aggressive DNA
The underlying idea remains unchanged. Specialized continues to bet on a fast-rolling e-MTB, with less travel than a conventional Levo and a more direct response on flow trails. The novelty is that this behavior is now offered in a new aluminum platform, which opens the door to a broader audience without modifying the technical foundation of the project.

Same Rally concept with the Turbo 3.1 system
The new Alloy version keeps intact the approach we saw at the initial launch. The Turbo Levo R is born as a faster and more precise interpretation within the range, with 29-inch wheels and a suspension scheme of 140 mm in the front and 130 mm in the rear, designed to prioritize efficiency and control at high speeds.

At the center of it all remains the Turbo 3.1 system, which defines the character of the bike. In the carbon range, it reached figures of up to 850 W and 111 Nm in its highest version, while standard setups were slightly below. In this aluminum version, that philosophy of progressive and controlled assistance is maintained, with electronic management that adapts power delivery to the terrain and cadence.

The battery continues to be one of the pillars of the system. Specialized maintains the 840 Wh capacity as a base, with the possibility of alternative configurations depending on use, allowing for the same versatility as in the higher models.
The jump to aluminum does not change the behavior
Beyond the frame material, the Levo R Comp Alloy retains the traits that define this platform. The geometry remains focused on stability at speed and control in technical areas, with a clearly different approach than that of e-bikes more oriented towards classic trail riding.
The suspension with GENIE technology is also maintained, one of the key points of the model. This system seeks a more usable behavior in the first part of the travel and greater resistance at the end to avoid bottoming out, something that in the original version translated into a sensation closer to a spring in the initial stroke.
The set is completed with well-known details such as the MasterMind system, fine-tuning of assistance via MicroTune, and practical solutions like internal SWAT storage.
Specialized Turbo Levo R Comp Alloy: more accessible but very balanced
The new aluminum range starts with the Levo R Comp Alloy model, which clearly positions itself below the carbon setups both in price and focus, while maintaining a competitive level of components.
In this setup, we find a FOX 36 SL Performance fork with 140 mm and a FOX FLOAT Performance GENIE shock developed specifically for this model. The transmission is handled by the SRAM Eagle T-Type system, accompanied by SRAM Motive Bronze four-piston brakes and aluminum wheels with 30 mm internal width.

The set is completed with components from Specialized in handlebars and peripherals, along with a X-Fusion telescopic seatpost with travel adapted to each size. The motor claims 101 Nm of torque and a maximum power of 666 W in this version.
Price and availability
The Specialized Turbo Levo R Comp Alloy is priced at €6,499, which represents a clear step down from the carbon models that started at €7,999 and expands access to this new platform.

It is available in two finishes and a wide range of sizes, maintaining the adjustment philosophy that characterizes the range.
