The town of Chelva will once again be the venue to kick off the international XCO season. Every year, the best specialists in the discipline gather there, making it a unique opportunity to see and compete alongside some of the most decorated stars in the sport. The International Chelva Challenge 2025 have now set a date and registration is open.

The weekend of February 15-16, 2025 will see a new edition of the International Chelva Challenge, one of the most charming UCI HC events in the global XCO circuit, where world champions, Olympians, and World Cup winners gather every year.
The race has been organized for over 10 years by the local club Club Chelva Bike Racing, and its management of the event, the atmosphere, and the level of competition ensure that the best XCO teams and cyclists in the world return each year.

Among the recent champions of the event are top names from the World Cup circuit such as David Valero, Savilia Blunk, Jolanda Neff, Martina Berta, Alan Hatherly, Victor Koretzky, and Vlad Dascalu.
In this edition, the U23 race will be held separately from the elite races, and U23 riders can participate in both.
