The diamond symbol marks the new future of Öhlins
The historic Swedish suspension company Öhlins has presented its new visual identity, a change that symbolizes the beginning of a new era within the Brembo group and reflects a more technological and user-oriented strategy.
Öhlins unveils new image for a new stage
The presentation took place on November 3rd in Upplands Väsby (Sweden) and represents much more than a simple redesign of the logo: it is the confirmation of the transformation that the brand has undergone since its acquisition by Brembo at the beginning of 2025. With this operation, the Italian group, a world leader in brake systems, integrated Öhlins into its strategy of offering smart and connected solutions for high performance in motorcycles, cars, and bicycles.

The new logo maintains the essence of Öhlins' classic typography but modernizes it with cleaner lines and a digitally optimized design that reflects Scandinavian sobriety. The iconic yellow color remains prominent, now accompanied by black, white, blue, and gray tones. Additionally, the brand incorporates a new symbol, a reinterpretation of the letter “Ö”, formed by two arrows converging in a diamond that represent expansion, innovation, and precision, values that have guided Öhlins for half a century.

Under the new direction, Öhlins aims to consolidate a strategy focused on technological innovation and the direct transfer of competition developments to the market. This is particularly relevant for the mountain bike sector, where the brand had maintained a prominent presence in World Cup XCO teams, such as BMC, but had not transferred some of its advancements, such as the electronic suspensions seen in competition, to the commercial catalog.
At the center of the new logo, the brand places the concept “Soul of Heritage,” which connects the four key areas that define the company's identity: Personality, Experience, Performance, and Excellence. Each of these pillars combines elements ranging from style, driving culture, and competitive spirit to cutting-edge technology and Scandinavian design, reflecting the union between tradition, innovation, and passion for performance that the brand seeks to convey in this new stage.
The entry into the Brembo group has brought with it a commitment to reverse that trend and ensure that prototypes developed in competition reach the end user more quickly, something that had previously been a pending issue. This rebranding can therefore be understood as another step in that direction and a preview of what could begin to materialize during 2026.
Brembo's CEO, Daniele Schillaci, highlighted that this rebranding “marks an important milestone for the future of Öhlins and reinforces the alignment of both brands within a common strategy focused on providing smart and integrated solutions to our customers.”
The new identity will be officially presented to the public during EICMA 2025, the international motorcycle fair held in Milan. Additionally, next year will be significant for the brand's history, as Öhlins will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. Five decades that have been synonymous with excellence in competition and a reference in high-performance suspension.
