Decathlon Ford bets on the future with the U23 signing of Alix André Gallis and Lucas Teste
Alix André Gallis and Lucas Teste become the first riders in this category to officially join the team, a clear commitment to development from the grassroots within one of the most powerful structures in international MTB.

Born on September 22, 2005, Alix André Gallis faces his third season in the U23 category after achieving some of the best results of his career in 2025. He was third in the U23 World Cup in Les Gets, as well as reaching the podium in the French Championship and narrowly missing out on continental metal with a fourth place in the European Championship.

“I start this new adventure with a lot of excitement. Decathlon Ford is one of the great teams on the circuit, and I want to continue getting closer to the best in the world in my category,” explains the Frenchman, who also highlights the incentive of sharing a team with Teste, whom he has known for years.
At just 18 years old (July 26, 2007), Lucas Teste arrives in the U23 category after an outstanding junior season, crowned with the title of junior world champion. In fact, he became the sixth Frenchman in history to achieve this, winning last September in the demanding Crans-Montana circuit.
“I move up to U23 without pressure, eager to learn and continue progressing. Being part of an international team like Decathlon Ford is going to help me a lot,” says Teste, who particularly values reuniting with Gallis within the same structure.
The team's general director, Samuel Roces, emphasizes that “supporting young talents with potential is part of our mission as an elite team. We want to work calmly and consolidate their progress, something that would not be possible without the support of partners like Orange Seal.”
