The CX World Cup in Benidorm changes its circuit
With the road cycling season already coming to an end, it's time to start looking ahead to cyclocross, especially on January 18, 2026, when a new edition of the Benidorm Cyclocross World Cup will take place. A race that is already hinting at the novelties that this season will bring.

More sand, new finish area, and more toughness for the Benidorm CX World Cup circuit
Just over a week ago, tickets for the Benidorm CX World Cup 2026 went on sale and more than 1,000 tickets have already been sold, a sign of the success that the race has had in previous editions and that promises to be repeated in 2026.
To give new incentives to the audience that comes to Benidorm, the organization led by Pascual Montparler has just announced the renovation of the circuit, which, although it will continue to focus on the Foietes and Moralet parks, will include several important novelties that will make it much more attractive and challenging.

The first of the changes is the new location of the start and finish straight, which will incline upwards and will be preceded by a section of stairs, which could lead to unexpected race outcomes.
The second novelty is that the old finish straight now becomes a 100-meter-long sandbank, which will undoubtedly make the laps much more selective. The rest of the circuit maintains the same fast and twisty style that has offered exciting races in recent years.

As we mentioned at the beginning, tickets are already on sale, priced at €18 until November 9. From there, the price will increase to €20 until January 6, and then will cost €22 until the weekend of the competition. Children under 7 years old will have a child ticket for €2, the amount of which will be donated to local charities.
