The CX World Cup in Benidorm announces a new circuit for 2025
In just two editions, the Benidorm CX World Cup has become one of the favorites for cyclists and the public. Now, the organization has just announced details of a new, longer and more demanding circuit where the 2025 edition will take place.
New circuit for the Benidorm CX World Cup 2025
The UCI Cyclocross World Cup - Benidorm Costa Blanca 2025 will take place on January 19th in the town of Alicante and as a great novelty, this edition will debut a new route that will once again pass through the Foietes and El Moralet parks and their surroundings.
The new route includes more kilometers through the forest area of El Moralet, which will make the race tougher with more elevation gain. Spread throughout different areas of the circuit, VIP and Super VIP spaces will be included near the finish line, as well as three Fan Zones.

This is how Pascual Momparler, the head of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup - Benidorm Costa Blanca, explained it:
"The circuit changes, as it did in the previous two years. We have identified what the fans like and also what the cyclists like. They have asked us for a slightly tougher route, which was a feature they appreciated in 2023, and to maintain the technical part that we introduced in 2024. The result of listening to everyone is a route as technical as it is demanding that we believe will be perfect and we hope to use for many years."
During the event weekend, there will be a full cyclocross program with official training on Saturday and a national category race open to all categories. On Sunday the 19th, the youth, under 23, and Elite competitions will take place from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
