The COROS DURA is updated with smarter navigation and the renewed App 4.0
COROS has announced an important update for its advanced DURA cycling computer, one of the most popular since its launch, incorporating new navigation functions, visual improvements on the maps, and real-time audio alerts. Along with this firmware upgrade, version 4.0 of the COROS App has also been introduced, completely redesigned to offer a faster, visual, and intuitive experience.
More precision, more control, and a better experience with the Coros DURA
With this new update, the DURA now offers more precise turn-by-turn navigation by displaying street names directly on the screen. Route recalibration also takes a step forward, allowing cyclists to choose between three modes: automatic, manual, or no recalculation, for total customization of the route.
Another highlighted novelty is the improvement in map representation: it is now easier to differentiate between roads, bike lanes, and slopes, thanks to a new topographic layer. In addition, real-time weather forecast is incorporated directly from the main screen, and audio alerts can be configured for speed, distance, or nutrition, audible through headphones or the mobile speaker.

Users can also automatically pause activity recording when stopping, set up to 10 custom data pages, and even download official cycling workouts directly from the app.
The COROS 4.0 App gets a complete makeover
Simultaneously, COROS has launched version 4.0 of its official application, which now features a completely redesigned interface with sharper graphics, improved navigation, and a more intuitive content organization. This new app is divided into four main sections: Progress, Activities, Explore, and Profile, making it easier to access key data, routes, workouts, and device settings.
Among its most powerful features are real-time voice alerts, informing about pace, turns, or nutritional reminders without the need to look at the screen. Direct access to over 200 official plans and routines created by professional trainers has also been added, as well as a new AI-powered virtual assistant named Cara, which answers questions and helps with common issues.
Furthermore, the app now allows for easier management of the device's internal storage, editing strength workouts directly from the watch with guided animations, and configuring sports modes such as yoga, pilates, or tennis, among others.
