Classified and ROSE Bikes join forces in the Classified Gravel Racing Team
As we mentioned, the official bike of the team will be the ROSE Backroad FF and will combine its minimalist industrial design with the revolutionary Powershift technology from Classified. The "virtual" Classified system, you can read our test with it on the road here, offers ultra-fast shifts, integration, and maximum efficiency.

After the announcement, Anatol Sostmann, Product and Brand Director of ROSE Bikes, highlighted: "Since the launch of Classified's innovative shifting system, ROSE has equipped high-end gravel and road bikes, achieving great success in the market. Now, the competition team will demonstrate that the combination of the Backroad FF and Powershift technology is ready to face the toughest gravel races in the world."

On his part, Nick Sannen, director of the Classified team, added: "Just like an advanced shifting system, a team must function in perfect harmony. We are delighted to take this collaboration to a new level with Classified x ROSE powered by Foodmaker."
Thomas de Gendt is the star signing for 2025
The star signing for this year for the Classified Gravel Racing Team is Thomas De Gendt, a road cycling legend, who will bring his extensive World Tour experience to this young Gravel team. De Gendt's signing will not only focus on competition, but will also contribute with his knowledge, contacts, and discipline to enhance the team's performance and the development of its associated brands.
Alongside him, other great names are part of the team: Toby Perry, European runner-up; Piotr Havik, fourth place in Unbound 2024; Daan Grosemans, Arno Van Den Broeck and the young Canadian promise Lucy Hempstead.
Although gravel is known for being a solitary discipline, the Classified team factory is betting on cooperation and trust both on and off the track. "We want to adapt the structures of World Tour teams to modern gravel. We know it's not easy on narrow trails, but we seek to stand out as a recognizable unit through collaboration. We are excited for this upcoming season!", Sannen concluded.
The team will kick off the season in February with the races of the Gravel Earth Series Santa Vall and Sahara Gravel, where they will add their first competitive kilometers. Among the highlighted events of the year are The Traka in Girona, one of the most important races in Europe, and the Santa Vall, which will serve as the first test to measure strengths on Spanish terrain.
