Tailfin updates the trendy aero rack among bikepackers
Since its launch a few years ago, the Tailfin rack has become one of the favorite accessories for bikepacking enthusiasts thanks to its combination of lightness, load capacity, and stability that solves the inconveniences of traditional bikepacking saddlebags. Now the brand is renewing its Aero Pack kit with the update of the AP18 storage bag.

Carrying your home with the renewed Tailfin Aero Pack
Tailfin is one of those products that hit the mark thanks to a mix of ingenuity, excellent craftsmanship, and logic in its design. While in bikepacking the usual thing is the huge saddlebags that, due to their suspended position, add instability to the suspension by swaying when loaded, Tailfin decided to reinvent the classic rack but adapted to the necessary versatility of current gravel bikes.
Thus was born the Tailfin, a rack anchored to both the seatpost and the frame dropouts thanks to a specific thru-axle, providing full stability complemented by a strong and lightweight carbon fiber structure.

Now Tailfin is renewing its Aero Pack, the kit that includes its rack and the AP18 storage system, designed specifically to integrate into it to increase its load capacity and functionality, a kit that receives the Cargo surname which shows its intentions.
The main novelty of the AP18 bag included with the Aero Pack Cargo is that it increases its capacity, also including useful solutions such as external mesh pockets to store those things we prefer to have more at hand or that we do not want to put inside the bag like dirty or wet clothes.

The closure of the main compartment is also modified, now with two buckles instead of a simple one, making it easier to close the AP18 Cargo bag when it is full to the brim, also adding a compression strap to compress the contents when it is not so loaded. In addition, three carbon reinforcements are included inside to ensure that the bag maintains its shape at all times to make it easier to use.
We can purchase only the AP18 Cargo bag if we already have a Tailfin rack, a bag that is priced at €240. On the other hand, the complete Aero Pack Cargo has a price of €540.
