SRAM launches an external battery for its Eagle Powertrain

SRAM has just introduced the Eagle Powertrain Range Extender, an external battery that is placed in one of the bottle cages and extends the range by 40% with an additional 250Wh.

The SRAM Eagle Powertrain system with automatic shifting for eBikes hit the market less than a year ago and now SRAM complements it with this 250Wh Range Extender that will become the perfect companion for long rides.

Thanks to a set of "plates" the Range Extender can be easily swapped with one of the bottle cages in a few seconds.
