Sprint day in the Tour de France falls into the hands of Jonathan Milan
Transition stage in the Tour de France that was decided in a sprint sung from the first kilometer of the day. An arrival in which Jonathan Milan, despite wearing the green jersey for the accumulation of prizes from Pogacar, manages to recover it with this triumph by full right.
Lidl-Trek opens its victory account with Jonathan Milan
It was predictable, after the two extremely tough days that the cyclists have faced in the Tour de France and with a stage from Saint Méen le Grand to Laval; not too long, completely flat with mostly headwind, we had all the ingredients for the peloton to grant themselves a recovery day.

A quiet day that was surely appreciated by the main victims of yesterday's tremendous crash, a completely bruised Santiago Buitrago and Joao Almeida, who in today's stage started with a fractured rib trying to pass days to be of some help to Tadej Pogacar in the remaining Tour de France.
As we were saying, the stage passed completely peacefully, not even a breakaway in the peloton except for a small skirmish, already past the intermediate sprint where two TotalEnergies men, Burgaudeau and Vercher, left the peloton more with the aim of showcasing the sponsor for a few minutes on television than as a real attempt to break away.
Even the arrival passed completely cleanly, with a Lidl-Trek that perfectly placed Jonathan Milan in the final part until the Alpecin-Deceuninck appeared ready to continue fighting these arrivals with Kaden Groves, their plan B after the abandonment at the beginning of the week by Philipsen. Milan stuck to his wheel to launch the arrival at will. Only Wout van Aert managed to stick to his wheel but only to cross the finish line in second place as Jonathan Milan managed to win with total clarity to achieve a first victory in this Tour de France that was eluding him.
