Specialized Turbo Levo R: the new full power "Rally" is now official
Specialized has officially presented the new Turbo Levo R, a faster and more refined interpretation of its full power Turbo 3.1 platform. With 140 mm in the front, 130 mm in the rear, 29” wheels, and up to 850 W of maximum power in its S-Works version. The Levo R is designed with a clear "rally" focus, featuring less travel than the conventional Levo and a more direct character for fast riding on open trails and flowy terrain.

Key Features of the New Specialized Turbo Levo R
- Rally travel: 140 mm in the fork and 130 mm in the rear with GENIE shock.
- Specific 29” FACT carbon frame, lighter than the Levo 4 according to the brand.
- Turbo 3.1 full power motor with up to 850 W and 111 Nm in S-Works version, and up to 810 W and 105 Nm in other builds.
- 840 Wh battery as standard, with an option for a 600 Wh battery and a 280 Wh Range Extender.
- Adjustable geometry (3 position head angle, 2 position bottom bracket, and flip-chip on chainstays).
- Suspension with GENIE technology, designed to provide a more linear feel in the useful travel range.
- MasterMind system and advanced connectivity, with MicroTune and compatibility with Apple Find My as per specifications.
Details of the New Specialized Levo R
The Levo R shares the electrical ecosystem with the current Turbo 3.1 generation but changes the dynamic approach. Specialized defines it as an e-MTB designed for fast riding on trails and technical sections, reducing travel compared to the Levo 4 to gain agility and precision.

Turbo 3.1 Motor: Maximum Power and Intelligent Management
The heart of the system remains the Turbo 3.1 motor. In its S-Works version, it claims up to 850 watts and 111 Nm of torque, while in the Expert and Comp builds, the maximum announced figures are 810 watts and 105 Nm.
Beyond the numbers, Specialized emphasizes the electronic management of the delivery. The system adjusts assistance based on cadence, speed, and terrain type, seeking more control at low speeds in technical areas and a more stable response when the pace is high. According to the brand, this management optimizes traction on demanding climbs.
840 Wh and Modular Configuration
The main battery is 840 Wh. The system allows for replacement with an optional 600 Wh battery for those prioritizing lightness or to add a 280 Wh Range Extender for long routes. The batteries are IP67 certified according to technical information, and the system automatically adapts energy management parameters based on the installed configuration.
The brand anticipates a maximum autonomy of up to 4 hours and 40 minutes in the S-Works version and up to 5 hours in the Expert and Comp builds.
GENIE Suspension: More Useful Sensitivity
One of the most notable technical elements is the FOX FLOAT GENIE shock with a specific configuration from Specialized for rally. Specialized explains that the operating curve offers a more linear behavior during approximately the initial 70% of the travel, seeking a sensation similar to that of a spring, while the final section increases progressiveness to avoid harsh bottoming out.
This GENIE system would allow for up to 17.3% more useful travel compared to a conventional FOX FLOAT shock in the same situation.
Adjustable Geometry
The Levo R maintains the philosophy of configurable geometry. It allows for varying the head angle in three positions (+/- 1°), modifying the bottom bracket height in two positions with a 5 mm difference, and adjusting the effective chainstay length via flip-chip.

The declared base geometry places the head angle at 65°, the seat angle at 77°, chainstays at 447 mm, and bottom bracket height at 339 mm.

Display, MicroTune, and Charging System
The system integrates a MasterMind T3 display of 1.78 inches that offers high-resolution visualization
with customizable real-time data. This is combined with the remote control MicroTune that can be configured for 10% increments or with a dynamic MicroTune mode.

The standard charger is 5A and, according to the brand, allows reaching 80% charge in approximately 90 minutes. The S-Works version includes a 12A Smart Charger capable of reducing that time to under an hour for 80%.
