Specialized surprises with its free lifetime bearing replacement program
The major bicycle brands are creating an interesting path to assert their quality and differentiate themselves from the rest. Programs with a lifetime warranty for frames from some manufacturers are well known, but Specialized goes a step further and bets on lifetime replacement of one of the components that suffer the most in a full-suspension mountain bike.
Specialized's program for lifetime replacement of bearings in their full-suspension mountain bikes
Specialized has announced its new program for the lifetime replacement of suspension bearings directly to its distributors, but we believe it is a very interesting service that all those considering buying a new mountain bike should know about.
The most important thing to know is that this service covers any Specialized full-suspension bike sold from January 1, 2024, and registered with Specialized. Customers who request it can only have the bearings replaced at authorized stores, the bearing set will not be sent directly to the cyclist. This kit will be free, one can be requested per bike per year, and only the labor for replacement will need to be paid.

As we mentioned, it seems like a very interesting extra service that generates confidence in the quality that Specialized offers in their bicycles.
A complete set of bearings can cost over €100 just for the material and they are usually one of the most sensitive components that should be replaced as soon as possible in case of damage due to the risk they pose to the frame or swingarm.
