Specialized enters F1 with the Audi Revolut
Specialized takes a step further in its expansion strategy beyond cycling and officially lands in Formula 1. The American brand has announced a multi-year agreement with the new Audi Revolut F1 Team to become its official supplier of bicycles and electric bikes starting from the 2026 season.

Specialized will be the official bicycle supplier for the Audi Revolut F1 Team in Formula 1
The collaboration will allow Specialized to supply a complete fleet of bicycles for the team's staff and drivers, both during Grand Prix weekends and at the headquarters in Hinwil, Switzerland. The agreement includes performance-oriented models such as the Specialized S-Works Tarmac, as well as electric bikes like the Specialized Vado 3, which will be used for internal mobility, training, and physical recovery.
The first official images already show several bikes decorated with the colors and aesthetics of the Audi Revolut F1 Team, discreetly integrating the team's logos into the frame. Although the public sale of these special versions has not yet been confirmed, Specialized has hinted that “there are very interesting collaborations on the way”, clearly pointing to future limited editions or joint products inspired by Formula 1.

The CEO of Specialized Bicycle Components, Armin Landgraf, explained that both companies share the same philosophy focused on performance and constant innovation. “Specialized and Audi Revolut F1 Team share the same obsession with limitless innovation and absolute performance”, he stated during the official announcement.
The Formula 1 team also highlighted the physical importance of the current championship calendar, which is increasingly demanding and globalized. Stefano Battiston, the team's commercial director, assured that bicycles will play an important role in the physical preparation and recovery of drivers and staff both at the circuits and at the team's facilities.
The alliance fits perfectly into an increasingly visible trend within modern Formula 1, where cycling has become a common tool for training, recovery, and mobility within the paddock. Drivers like Carlos Sainz, for whom Specialized has already prepared a special version, Valtteri Bottas, or Mark Webber have publicly shown their passion for cycling for years, while many teams use high-end bikes during Grand Prix events.

This is not the first time that Specialized has approached elite motorsport. The brand previously collaborated with McLaren in the development of the iconic Venge launched in 2011. However, all signs point to this new partnership with Audi being more focused on brand image, mobility, and a premium lifestyle than on joint technological development of bicycles.
Even so, the aesthetics shown in the first Tarmacs of the team make it clear that Specialized wants to make the most of the visual connection with Formula 1 and turn these bicycles into some of the most recognizable in the paddock.
