The race was held over 9 laps and although it remained in a group, with the lead alternating between Keller, Lecomte, or Richards, it was not until the last lap that the race was decided.

At the start of the last lap, Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte launched a very aggressive change of pace that seemed to create a gap, but Sina Frei and Evie Richards fought not to lose her wheel. So much so that the Swiss managed to counterattack Lecomte and prevail on the finish straight to cross the finish line first.
Sina Frei first, Loana Lecomte second, and Evie Richards third.
