Silver and rainbow: Van der Poel debuts this spectacular bike for his cyclocross season
Mathieu van der Poel is ready with the bike he will use to face the new cyclocross season. The Dutchman has just presented the Canyon Inflite CF SLX that he will use this winter, a model that is not new in his collection but now boasts a stunning aesthetic. It is exactly the same base with which he conquered the World Championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025, although now it comes with a completely renewed aesthetic that will officially debut this Sunday in Namur.
Van der Poel debuts new cyclocross bike
The main novelty of Van der Poel's Inflite for this season is in the visual aspect. The frame abandons the dominant white of previous years to opt for a metallic silver finish, much more eye-catching, which serves as a base for very pronounced rainbow details on the fork and in the central area of the frame, reinforcing his status as the reigning world champion.

The colors of the rainbow jersey are once again very present, but this time with a stronger contrast thanks to the silver background, which also enhances the prints of Canyon and the other sponsors. In terms of structure and assembly, there do not seem to be significant changes compared to last season.

New Factor ONE: the superbike that redefines aerodynamics and modern geometry in cycling

Since 2023, Van der Poel has been competing with the latest generation of the Canyon Inflite CF SLX, even before its official presentation. With this platform, he has achieved three consecutive world titles, and Canyon has not deemed it necessary to introduce technical modifications for this campaign.
The frame maintains the characteristic design of the top tube, designed to facilitate shoulder transport in sections on foot. Its shape aims to maximize space in the front triangle while shifting the support point towards the stays to balance the weight when carrying the bike.

The lines of the frame remain direct and aggressive, with very careful integration of the wiring, one of the key aspects of this generation of the Inflite.
In terms of components, Van der Poel's bike continues to rely on a fully proven configuration in competition. The group remains Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, accompanied by XTR pedals, a common combination on his cyclocross bike.

The setup is completed with the integrated Canyon CP10 cockpit, the characteristic VCLS seat post, which leaves a large length of post exposed to improve flex and absorption, and a Selle Italia Flite Boost Kit Carbonio Superflow saddle in a specific version for Van der Poel, with a white finish and rainbow details.

The wheels remain Shimano Dura-Ace C50, fitted with Dugast tubular tires, a classic choice for muddy and the most demanding circuits on the calendar.
