The SCOTT Lumen 2024 range drops in price

SCOTT expands the horizon of the Lumen with a price renovation. The lightweight eMTB from the Swiss brand maintains the line and continues the design, geometry and motor-battery pair of the previous version. The renamed range is still composed of four models, starts at 7,120 euros and retains the Contessa version to also satisfy the female audience.

SCOTT Lumen 2024: new year for a lightweight electric mountain bike category

The Lumen landed on the market last year and became the first lightweight eMTB from SCOTT. The Swiss firm collected the exquisite heritage of the Spark and conceived the Lumen as an attempt to maintain the sensations and performance of one of the most recognized bikes in the sector. At first glance the resemblance is huge and, although the differences exist when approaching the magnifying glass, the reality is that both bikes have a great similarity.

The SCOTT Lumen opts for the compact TQ HPR50 motor of 50 Nm and a 360 Wh battery (with an option to an external one of another 160 Wh); numbers in line with the featherweight of 15.5 kg that marks on the scale the top-of-the-range model. Also, it has the integrated shock absorber and 130 mm travel both front and rear.

Now, SCOTT launches the Lumen 2024. At the top of the range we find this year the renamed eRide 900 SL TR -previously known as eRide 900 SL-. The price of 15,260 euros represents a reduction of 4.60% compared to the 15,999 euros of the previous top of the range. The model is identical to its predecessor, so it shares all the components.

The eRide 900 TR does increase the amount with a price of 10,170 euros, while the eRide 910 has a more moderate price of 7,120 euros. In both cases also the features and components that were chosen previously are preserved.

On the other hand, SCOTT enhances the commitment to the female sector with the Contessa model, which gathers the same characteristics found in the eRide 910; the price is also 7,120 euros.
