Schurter will lead SCOTT SRAM until 2026: "I don't want to change anything in this winning formula"
Along with the new additions to SCOTT SRAM for 2025, Emilly Johnston and Bjorn Riley, the team has also announced the renewal of Colombo, Schurter, and Frischknecht until 2026.
Schurter will lead SCOTT SRAM until 2026
After 20 seasons in the Elite World Cup, the greatest XCO cyclist of all time has just signed a new contract with SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing for another two years. At 38 years old, Nino Schurter will start in 2025 season number 23 with the colors of the same team.
After winning his 36th World Cup race in 2024, Nino Schurter faces 2025 with the firm goal of performing at 100% in the World Championship, which this time will be held in his home, Crans Montana, Switzerland. Nino has shown that age in his case is just a number and he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level for 2025 and beyond.
"I am incredibly proud to enter my 23rd season with SCOTT-SRAM. This team is much more than a team to me, it is a family. Together we have already celebrated many unforgettable experiences and I look forward to many more adventures with my teammates." Said Nino Schurter during the announcement of his renewal.

On the other hand, his teammate Filippo Colombo was equally excited about his renewal: "I am super happy to continue my journey with the SCOTT-SRAM team. In the last two years, the support and professionalism have been incredible. Deciding to stay with this amazing organization is easy. I am eager to give it my all in the upcoming seasons and excited to welcome the new athletes. I am sure we will create a winning formula."
With the latest signings, the departure of Kate Courtney, and the renewal of Colombo, Schurter, and Andri, SCOTT SRAM director Thomas Frischknecht closes the lineup for the upcoming season:
"I am very excited about the future of the SCOTT-SRAM MTB racing team. We started in 2002 as a development team, and today we want to pay more attention to young talents."
