Prologo redefines the road saddle with the new fully integrated Choice
Prologo has just presented its new Choice saddle, a model that focuses on integration with the bike and the cyclist in its design while offering superior aerodynamic performance. The Italian brand introduces a concept that goes beyond classic ergonomics to focus on the overall efficiency of the system.
Prologo presents its new Choice, a fully integrated design aimed at performance
The Prologo Choice is born with the idea of optimizing the set formed by the cyclist, bike, and support point. To achieve this, the brand has developed a design that reduces aerodynamic resistance and improves power transfer, aligning with the current trend of increasingly integrating components.

One of the key aspects is the reduction of stack height and the optimized connection between the base and the rails, which translates into greater structural rigidity. This allows for a more efficient pedal stroke and more precise handling, especially in demanding situations such as technical descents or high-intensity efforts.

The Choice introduces an unusual approach for this type of component, with aerodynamics as the central axis of development. Its design has been refined through CFD simulations and validated in wind tunnels, aiming to minimize the impact of airflow in a traditionally overlooked area.

The most distinctive element is the integration of Nack carbon fiber rails, which are hidden under lateral structures that channel air towards the rear. This solution not only improves aerodynamic penetration but also helps maintain a compact and clean assembly.

Regarding ergonomics, the saddle features defined shapes based on pressure studies with specific biomechanical analysis systems, allowing for optimized support according to the new, more aggressive positions in modern cycling.

The use of next-generation variable density foams aims to balance comfort and performance throughout the pedal cycle, which is crucial for prolonged and high-intensity efforts.
In terms of geometry, it opts for a compact profile and a semi-round T shape, available in two widths to accommodate different cyclists.
One of the most innovative points of the Prologo Choice is its modular approach. Unlike most saddles on the market, it allows for the separation of the carbon base and the rails through a screw fastening system.

This design facilitates the replacement of parts in case of damage, introducing a more sustainable approach without compromising on lightness or structural performance.
