LOOK turns the sky of Roubaix into a very special 795 Blade RS
LOOK looks north again, and it does so where it matters most, in the race. The French brand has presented the 795 Blade RS Ciel du Nord, a limited edition that will debut on the cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix with Team Cofidis and directly connects its latest aero platform with one of the most iconic moments in its history.
LOOK launches the 795 Blade RS Ciel du Nord, a unique edition that will debut at the Paris-Roubaix
On April 12, Piet Allegaert and Marion Borras will put this bike to the test in "The Hell of the North," but in a play on words and a historical twist, LOOK has wanted to reinterpret the aesthetics of one of its most advanced competition bikes.

From Jalabert to modern cobblestones: the origin of the Ciel du Nord
The starting point of this edition is in 1992, with Laurent Jalabert's first victory in the Tour de France. That day, contested between Roubaix and Brussels, was marked by a very particular light that LOOK has wanted to recover more than three decades later.

The Ciel du Nord decoration comes from that image. A gradient between bluish-gray and pale pink that reproduces the northern sky after the storm and has become the central element of this edition.

It is not an industrial finish. Each frame is completely hand-painted in the Nevers factory, which means that no two bikes are exactly alike and reinforces its character as a unique piece.
The 795 Blade RS taken to the stage for which it was designed
The basis of this edition is the 795 Blade RS, the fastest bike developed by LOOK to date and one of the most refined aero platforms in the peloton.
Designed alongside Team Cofidis, its approach is not limited to aerodynamic efficiency. Here, a key balance comes into play for the Northern Classics, where speed depends as much on the air as on the ability to filter the cobblestones.

The frame combines stiffness for power transmission with some vertical absorption that allows for control over the cobblestones, while the integrated set—cockpit, seat post, and internal cabling—minimizes aerodynamic resistance.

In full assembly, the bike weighs around 7.6 kg and is equipped with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed group, Mavic Cosmic S42 Carbon wheels, and Continental GP5000 TLR 28 mm tires, with a wheel clearance compatible up to 32 mm, a key detail considering Roubaix.

LOOK has not communicated prices and refers directly to each local distributor for that information, but each unit of this limited edition will be delivered with a commemorative pack that includes special edition Keo Blade Ceramic 12 pedals, a puzzle featuring the image of Jalabert's victory, and an exclusive Ciel du Nord bag.
