Pogacar won 362 KOMs and 627,280 € in the Tour
Great economic loot harvested by Tadej Pogacar once again throughout the Tour de France, not only for his final victory in the race but also thanks to the days he has worn the yellow jersey, leadership in the mountain classification as well as his four partial victories.
This is the loot that Tadej Pogacar takes from the Tour de France 2025
Juicy economic prizes that Tadej Pogacar has achieved throughout the Tour de France 2025. Nothing less than 626,280 euros, a figure that compared to what other sports offer may seem small but represents a little more than a quarter of the total amount that the Tour de France reserves in its budget for prizes.
Of these 626,280 euros, 500,000 correspond to the prize for the victory in the general classification of the race while the rest is distributed among the 25,000 corresponding to the victory in the mountain classification or the 11,000 awarded to the winner of each stage, let's remember that Tadej Pogacar achieved four in this edition of the Tour de France.

In addition to this, there is also the amount corresponding to each day wearing both the yellow jersey and the polka dot jersey, although the latter was only worn in the race for one day.
In any case, these prizes are nothing more than an extra that traditionally in the teams is distributed among all the members who have taken part in the Tour de France, after deducting the amount of the sanctions received throughout the race for one reason or another. When we refer to all members, we are not only talking about the cyclists but also about directors and, above all, assistants, mechanics, or masseurs for whom these prizes represent an important complement to the salary they receive from the team.
Beyond the economic prizes, Tadej Pogacar also collected an important moral prize. This in the form of a KOM in the popular Strava application. In no less than 362 segments, the Slovenian cyclist inscribed his name as the fastest to cover them. A harvest of KOMs among which stands out the record achieved in the mythical ascent to Mont Ventoux where both he and Jonas Vingegaard.
Tadej Pogacar also took the KOM of Hautacam, a stage in which he forged his victory in this Tour de France. However, this KOM does not mean that the Slovenian has the best ascent time to this port since the best official record still belongs to the Danish Bjarne Riis on the day he managed to dethrone Miguel Indurain. Obviously, in 1996, when this record was established, Strava did not yet exist to officially record that ascent in this application.
